The Granary
Step into The Granary, a delightful holiday cottage crafted from an old roundhouse and grain barn back in 2004. This unique space pays homage to history with its wooden floors and exposed roof trusses.
The roundhouse part, as the name implies is semi circular in shape and is now the sitting and dining area measuring some 22 feet across, this is where many years ago the horse would walk around to drive the machinery.

The property comprises four bedrooms 2 doubles upstairs, two twins downstairs. There is a shower room with w/c & basin upstairs with the main bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin downstairs. The kitchen has cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The sitting /dining room is spacious with a wood burning stove, TV and DVD. The granary has oil fired central heating. Outside there is a patio area with BBQ.
Adjoining and included with the Granary is a 2 acre field which visitors are free to use for outdoor games. The nearest road which is not that busy, it is single track and has a middle grass strip is 70 yards away.
Pattard has much wildlife including Barn owls, hawks,buzzards, woodpeckers,bats to name but a few. The barn owls have their own nesting site incorporated into the conversion so it is not uncommon to be able to watch the parents out hunting at dusk to feed their young in late spring and early summer. If you stay in July/August you may well see the young on their first flight. There have been owls nesting here for the last 30 years.
If you wish to bring pets they must be controlled, you are staying on a farm where there are animals. Pets do come with a surcharge of £25 per week.
